This Webinar will be covering the most current NHTSA ARIDE Training Curriculum

This Webinar is taught by a highly experienced former DRE Instructor who has trained over 5,000 law enforcement officers, prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges in the NHTSA Impaired Driving training curriculums.

This Webinar provides the attendees with an overview of all nine training sessions covered in the ARIDE student manual.

This Webinar also provides the attendees with a detailed explanation on how officers are trained to properly determine a driver’s pupil size, which drug categories cause the pupils to dilate, which drug categories cause the pupils to constrict, the purpose of various eye examinations used in the ARIDE Curriculum, to include HGN, VGN, and Lack of Convergence, and how officers are trained to properly administer and describe the results of each eye exam.

This Webinar also provides the attendees with a detailed explanation on how officers are trained to properly administer the Modified Romberg Balance test and the Finger-to-Nose test at roadside and how officers are trained to describe what the results indicate.

This Webinar also provides the attendees with a detailed explanation on the major indicators and general indicators officers are trained to look for while investigating a person under the influence of CNS Depressants, CNS Stimulants, Hallucinogens, Dissociative Anesthetics, Narcotic Analgesics, Inhalants, and Cannabis.

This Webinar also provides the attendees with a side-by-side explanation in the differences between an ARIDE trained officer and a DRE trained officer. This explanation includes the differences in the training received, the required continuing education, the tests each type officer can administer, and the final opinion each type officer can give.

Attendees will receive the most current NHTSA ARIDE student manual, the ARIDE drug symptomology chart, ARIDE course handouts, and a handout version of speaker’s power point presentation (over 400 pages of materials / electronic format). Attendees will also receive a certificate of completion.
