Impaired Driving Specialists, LLC provides pre-trial services and expert witness testimony for prosecutors, defense attorneys, and civil attorneys in the NHTSA impaired driving training curricula. This includes the DWI Detection & Standardized Field Sobriety Testing curriculum, the Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) curriculum, and the Drug Evaluation and Classification Program (DRE) curriculum. Pre-Trial Services
Case File Analysis & Consultation:
- Provides a thorough review and analysis of the case file.
- Provides a verbal opinion of the driver’s vehicle operation, physical manifestations, and performance on the SFSTs, ARIDE Field Tests, DRE Tests, and any Divided Attention Techniques according to the NHTSA training curricula.
- Provides a verbal opinion of the Officer’s administration of the SFSTs, ARIDE Field Tests, DRE Tests, and any Divided Attention Techniques according to the NHTSA training curricula.
- Opinion provided via phone conference or virtual meeting.
- No written documentation is provided.
Case File Analysis & Written Report:
- Provides a thorough review and analysis of the case file.
- Provides a written opinion of the driver’s vehicle operation, physical manifestations, and performance on the SFSTs, ARIDE Field Tests, DRE Tests, and any Divided Attention Techniques according to the NHTSA training curricula.
- Provides a written opinion of the Officer’s administration of the SFSTs, ARIDE Field Tests, DRE Tests, and any Divided Attention Techniques according to the NHTSA training curricula.
- Reports include specific cites to the NHTSA DWI Detection & SFST manual, the ARIDE manual, the DRE manual, and any relevant studies.
